General Safety Info

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
The CDC is an essential resource for guidance on preparing your business to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA)
OSHA’s COVID-19 webpage has guidance on controlling and preventing the spread of COVID-19 as well as an industry-specific alert for the construction industry with advice for the workforce.

The Center for Construction Research and Training (CPWR)
The CPWR’s COVID-19 resource page has a lot of guide on job site safety. CPWR has also just released COVID-19 Standards for U.S. Construction Sites, a new national standard for infectious disease exposure control practices for job sites designed to prevent disease, disability, and death. They are available in English and Spanish.

Associated General Contractors of America (AGC)

The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) has assembled resources for topics including contracts, health & safety, economic and taxes, and more.

North American Building Trades Union (NABTU)
The NABTU has a plethora of resources covering legislative issues, legal support, health and safety, and more.

American Subcontractors Association (ASA)
The ASA has information regarding SBA loan programs, exposure and response plans, and general guidance.

Construction Law

National Law Review
The National Law Review has an excellent article on potential contractual relief for construction projects impacted by COVID-19. They also have additional articles related to construction law and the coronavirus.

Best Practices Construction Law
This blog has a great E-book, Best Practices for Contractors to Address COVID-19, written by Matthew DeVries, a construction and litigation attorney.

Financial Assistance


Small Business Administration
Learn about financial relief and loan programs made available by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act through the Small Business Adminisitration (SBA). These include the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) Emergency Advance, SBA Express Bridge Loans, and SBA Debt Relief. A small business is any company with 500 or fewer employees.
