What is Komtrax?

Komtrax is a telematics platform of Komatsu equipment. It's used to monitor and track the performance of Komatsu assets. Clue offers full support for Komtrax.

How do I connect to my Komatsu equipment using Komtrax?

If you purchased a Komatsu equipment after 2018, it should have already come with the required telematics hardware required for Komtrax.

Call your Komatsu dealer to enquire for your username and password to connect to Komtrax, or reach out to Clue for help.

How much does Komtrax cost?

Komtrax is usually free for owners of Komatsu equipment, but you will need to confirm this with your Komatsu dealer.

How do I log in to Komtrax?

Komtrax has different website addresses (URLs) depending on your country. These URLs change often. Currently the URLs appear below.

Can I track my old Komatsu equipment?

Yes. You can use Clue to track older Komatsu equipment even if does not have Komtrax hardware device.

Can I use Komtrax to track non-Komatsu equipment?

Where can I find my Komtrax username?

Your Komtrax username is an alphanumeric one, which is different than your email address. If you do not remember what it is, contact your Komatsu dealer and or check if it is saved in your browser's history. You can also reach out to Clue for help.

How do I reset my Komtrax password?

There currently isn't an easy way to reset a password on Komtrax's website. Contact your Komatsu dealer for help, or reach out to Clue.

How can I give someone API access to my Komatsu and Komtrax telematics data?

To provide 3rd party API access to your VisionLink telematics data, reach out to Clue for assistance.

Who do I contact to enable AEMP 2.0 access to my Komatsu (Komtrax) telematics data?

Clue can help you set up your ISO 15143-3 (AEMP 2.0) API access. We will create a service request with Komtrax to generate a unique set of username and password, also known as API credentials.

What information can I track with Komtrax?

Can I use Komtrax on mobile phones?
