What is CareTrack?

CareTrack is a telematics platform for Volvo equipment. It's used to monitor and track the performance of Volvo assets. Clue offers full support for CareTrack assets.

How do I connect to my Volvo equipment using CareTrack?

If you purchased Volvo equipment after 2019, it comes with CareTrack as standard on compact excavators 5 ton and upwards as well as all compact wheel loaders in the EMEA region. Contact your Volvo dealer to enquire for your username and password to connect to CareTrack or reach out to Clue for help.

How much does CareTrack cost?

CareTrack is usually free for owners for a minimum of 3 years after purchase of Volvo equipment, but you will need to confirm this with your Volvo dealer.

How do I log in to CareTrack?

Volvo has two website addresses (URLs) depending on your region. Currently the URLs appear below. If you are unable to login, please reach out to Clue for help.

Can I track my old Volvo equipment?

Yes. You can use Clue to track older Volvo equipment, even if it doesn't have up-to-date CareTrack hardware.

Can I use CareTrack to track non-Volvo equipment?

CareTrack is exclusively a Volvo equipment tracker. If you are in the 90% of companies operating with mixed fleets, then a platform like Clue offers comprehensive support for all major construction equipment manufacturers.

Where can I find my CareTrack username?

Your CareTrack username is an alphanumeric one, which is different from your email address. If you do not remember what this is, contact your Volvo dealer or check your browser’s history. You can also reach out to Clue for help.

How do I reset my CareTrack password?

You can reset your password from the CareTrack’s login page, contact your Volvo dealer for help or reach out to Clue.

How can I give someone API access to my Volvo and CareTrack telematics data?

To provide 3rd party API access to your telematics data, reach out to Clue for assistance. We will email the correct CareTrack support team in your country to receive your API credentials. You can also download the Clue app and connect your Volvo equipment directly in the app.

Who do I contact to enable AEMP 2.0 access to my Volvo (CareTrack) telematics data?

Clue can help you set up your ISO 15143-3 (AEMP 2.0) API access. We will create a service request with CareTrack to generate a unique username and password, also known as API credentials.

What information can I track with CareTrack?
